The Mr Tuba bag is a fully synthetic, padded gigbag that is ready to take great care of any standard BBb bass tuba. Designed for everyday use and regular travel, it wraps your instrument in a soft, non-abrasive lining with thick internal padding to keep it safe from bumps and scratches. A sturdy bell protector adds extra peace of mind for the tuba’s most vulnerable feature.

Designed for more comfortable and practical lugging, the bag comes with padded rucksack straps and a quick-release sternum strap to help balance the load. Two convenient side handles make lifting and manoeuvring in tight spaces straightforward. Storage is thoughtfully laid out too, with spacious external zip-up pockets for music and accessories, plus an internal security pocket for your smaller valuables and essentials.

Designed to accommodate all standard top action three or four valve BBb bass tubas with a maximum 19.5″ bell diameter, including the Besson Sovereign (old 992 and current 994), B&H Imperial, and Yamaha Neo.

  • All instruments sold have been fully serviced & checked over with any spares replaced as required.
  • They have been play tested to ensure everything is in working order and that they blow with a good sound.
  • Each instrument comes with a hard case or gig bag.
  • A specific mouthpiece is not included however I do have a stock of used ones so one can be sent if required.
  • I am happy to provide further pictures and detailed descriptions on any instrument, please email me if required info@duchybrass.co.uk
  • Part exchange considered on any of the instruments for sale.
  • Prospective buyers are welcome to come and view / play test by prior arrangement.

    Having not played for nearly 30 years I had the desire to play the cornet again. I am based in Qatar where there are very limited options to purchase any quality instruments.
