Description
Boosey & Hawkes ‘Imperial’ model euphonium, circa 1983, finished in matt silver plate with bright silver plated inner bell, slides, finger buttons and top/bottom caps. Features 11″ bell, larger shank mouthpiece receiver to fit modern mouthpieces and four compensating valves. Same as a Besson New Standard but with a different style of finger buttons, top/bottom caps.
This instrument was used as a shop demo back in the 1980’s and then stored unused thereafter hence it being in almost ‘as new’ condition. A very rare find and a genuine original instrument which plays as good as it looks. Complete as supplied from new with the B&H warranty card, mouthpiece, lyre, case keys and hard case.
