NEW Geneva Cardinal Cornet. Specification: 0.464” large bore, 4.9” hand hammered rose brass bell with nickel silver flare, rose brass leadpipe, main & third valve slide tuning triggers.  Finished in silver plate with lacquered slides and black nickel trim.

The bell of the stunning new Cardinal Cornet has a high copper content and nickel silver flare which helps to make the instrument sound very vibrant and singing-like, allowing the cornet to project more. It also has a more open taper from the mouthpiece receiver to the leadpipe which gives it an instantaneous feel.

The Cardinal also boasts intricate engraving. Each cornet is hand engraved from the rim of the bell to the start of the crook and from the start of the leadpipe to the start of the tuning slide. Supplied with both standard and heavy valve bottom options for the players personal preference. The benefits of the extra weight in the heavy bottoms include added focus to the instruments core sound and greater projection.
